As far as rules go, there are quite a few questions we often get. We will try to cover most of them in this article. Some of these are SEC rules, and some of them are specific to the XY Equity Reg A+ offering.
Who can invest?
Anyone can invest, regardless of net worth or income. However, the SEC does require anti-money laundering and banned organization checks. If you fail that check, you will not be allowed to invest.
How much can someone invest?
The simple math is that anyone can invest up to 10% of their net worth, or 10% of their annual net income, whichever is greater. It is up to the investor to “self certify” that this is the case. If you are an “accredited investor,” you can invest as much as you like, assuming there are enough shares left in the round to purchase.
Can a company or trust invest in a Reg A+ offering?
Yes. There is some additional paperwork that is required for this, but we can help you with that. Contact us at support@xy.company for more information.
